Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
Monitor patient vitals and clinical status; promptly report changes to the medical team.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation, patient records, and shift handover notes as per hospital policy.
Support infection prevention and control practices, including aseptic techniques and isolation precautions.
Assist in emergency care, triage, and critical interventions as required in assigned units.
Educate patients and attendants on care plans, post-discharge instructions, and health promotion.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient outcomes.
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of ward/clinical equipment and consumables.

Requirements

Age Limit (as on 21 April 2024): 18 to 40 years (age relaxation as per applicable rules).
Education: Any one of the following:
- B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing, or
- B.Sc (Post Certificate / Post Basic) Nursing, or
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with 2 years of experience
Registration: Valid registration with the Nursing Council is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of clinical nursing procedures, patient safety, and documentation standards.
Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as per hospital roster.
