Responsibilities
- Participate in structured apprenticeship training in the allotted technical trade as per Indian Navy training standards.
- Assist in trade-related maintenance, repair, fabrication, and workshop activities under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols, quality procedures, and standard operating practices in technical environments.
- Maintain training logs, work records, and documentation as required by the training unit.
- Support teams in routine technical tasks aligned with the trade and assigned branch requirements.
- Comply with discipline, conduct, and operational guidelines applicable to Indian Navy training establishments.
Requirements
- Education: Matriculation/10th pass from a recognized board.
- Technical Qualification: ITI passed and apprenticeship training in the related trade OR 02 years service in the appropriate technical branch of the Army/Navy/Air Force (as applicable).
- Age Limit (as on 02 September 2025): Minimum 18 years; Maximum 25 years.
- Age Relaxation: As per Indian Navy Tradesman Skilled Apprentice recruitment rules.
- Ability to qualify required selection stages including written examination, document verification, and medical examination.
