Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary by specialist role. Typical expectations include:

  • IT Officer: Support banking technology platforms, information systems, cybersecurity practices, application support, and technology-enabled service delivery.
  • Agricultural Field Officer: Evaluate and support agriculture/rural banking portfolios, assess agri-related credit proposals, and assist in outreach and advisory aligned to bank products.
  • Rajbhasha Adhikari: Implement official language policies, translation and drafting, and support Hindi language compliance/documentation in banking operations.

  • Minimum: 20 years
  • Maximum: 30 years

Educational Qualifications (Role-wise)

  • IT Officer (Scale I): Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology/Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunications/Electronics & Instrumentation; OR Post Graduation in relevant fields (as per notification); OR DOEACC ‘B’ level certification.
  • Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I): Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/Veterinary Science/Dairy Science/Fishery Science/Pisciculture/Agri Marketing & Cooperation/Co-operation Banking/Agro-Forestry/Food Technology.
  • Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I): Master’s Degree in Hindi/Sanskrit with English as a subject at the Bachelor level.
  • Law Officer (Scale I): Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB).
  • HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I): Bachelor’s Degree and two-year full-time Master’s Degree / two-year full-time PG Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/HR/HRD/Social Work/Labour Law.
  • Marketing Officer (Scale I): Bachelor’s Degree and two-year full-time post graduation in MMS (Marketing)/MBA (Marketing)/PGDBA/PGDBM/PGPM/PGDM.
