Position: Rajasthan Female Health Worker

We are seeking dedicated and community-focused Female Health Workers to support public health services across Rajasthan. This role plays a critical part in improving maternal and child health outcomes, supporting preventive care initiatives, and strengthening community health awareness through outreach and on-ground service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic primary healthcare support and assist in delivering community health programs.
  • Support maternal and child health services, including antenatal and postnatal care awareness and follow-ups.
  • Assist with immunization drives, health camps, and preventive health initiatives.
  • Conduct community outreach, health education sessions, and awareness campaigns (nutrition, hygiene, sanitation, and disease prevention).
  • Maintain accurate records, registers, and reports as required by the department/program.
  • Identify and report public health concerns, high-risk cases, and referrals to appropriate healthcare facilities.
  • Coordinate with local health centers, supervisors, and program staff to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Support implementation of government health schemes and assist beneficiaries with guidance and facilitation.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification as per the official Rajasthan Female Health Worker recruitment notification (e.g., 10th/12th and/or health worker/ANM-related certification where applicable).
  • Basic understanding of community health practices, public health awareness, and fieldwork responsibilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with community members and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work in field settings and travel within assigned areas.
  • Basic documentation and reporting skills; comfort with maintaining registers and forms.
  • Knowledge of local language(s) and familiarity with the local community is preferred.
