Diploma Trainee (NTPC/BRBCL)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day technical operations, monitoring, and reporting under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for plant equipment and systems.
  • Help in inspections, troubleshooting, and basic fault analysis to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Maintain logs, checklists, and documentation related to operations, maintenance, safety, and quality.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols, including use of PPE and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (operations, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, stores) for routine tasks.
  • Participate in training, skill development programs, and on-the-job learning assignments.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics/Instrumentation, or related fields) from a recognized institution.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of industrial equipment, maintenance practices, and technical documentation.
  • Safety Mindset: Ability to follow safety rules and work in an industrial environment.
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication for reporting and coordination.
  • Work Readiness: Willingness to work in shifts and at project/plant locations as per organizational needs.
