Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dental assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning in accordance with clinical standards and applicable government health protocols.
  • Perform routine and emergency dental procedures, including preventive care, restorative dentistry, and basic oral surgical interventions within scope.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and required documentation as per departmental guidelines.
  • Ensure infection control, sterilization, and safe clinical practices in the dental operatory.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive measures, and follow-up care.
  • Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to support efficient patient flow and service delivery.
  • Participate in public health initiatives, outreach programs, or health camps when assigned.
  • Adhere to ethical standards, government service conduct rules, and any UPPSC/departmental compliance requirements.

  • Eligibility to appear for the UPPSC Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2022 as per the official notification.
  • Required educational qualifications and professional credentials relevant to the Dental Surgeon role (as per UPPSC/State Government norms).
