Position: Junior Engineer (JE)

Role Overview: We are seeking motivated and technically sound Junior Engineers to support planning, execution, supervision, and quality assurance of engineering works. The JE will assist senior engineers in delivering projects on time, maintaining compliance with applicable standards, and preparing technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, surveying, and execution of engineering projects and maintenance activities.
- Supervise on-site work, monitor progress, and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, estimates, measurement books (MB), and work reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, quality benchmarks, and relevant codes/standards.
- Support procurement processes by preparing material requirements and technical specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and report non-conformities; support corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain project documentation including schedules, approvals, test reports, and completion certificates.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (planning, finance, stores, operations) for smooth execution.
- Assist in testing/commissioning activities and handover documentation where applicable.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or relevant discipline) from a recognized institution.
- Basic understanding of engineering design, construction/installation practices, and maintenance procedures.
- Working knowledge of relevant standards/codes and quality control processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and basic estimation tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as required.
