Position: Junior Basic Training (JBT) Primary Teacher

This role is ideal for passionate educators committed to foundational learning outcomes and student development at the primary level. The JBT Primary Teacher will support classroom instruction, student assessment, and holistic learning initiatives under the Samagra Shiksha framework.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning objectives.
- Create an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative methods; maintain academic records as required.
- Implement classroom management practices that promote positive behavior and active participation.
- Collaborate with school leadership, colleagues, and parents/guardians to support student growth.
- Support co-curricular and school activities as assigned, including remedial/enrichment initiatives.
- Follow departmental policies, reporting requirements, and any Samagra Shiksha program guidelines.
Requirements
- Age Limit (as on 01/01/2022): Minimum 21 years; Maximum 37 years (age relaxation as per government rules).
- Educational Qualification (either of the following):
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with D.El.Ed and CTET Paper I qualified, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 50% marks and B.Ed, and CTET Paper I qualified.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school stakeholders.
- Commitment to professional ethics, integrity, and student-centered teaching practices.
