Details
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced an internship opportunity for engineering students. The DRDO Intern (Engineering) programme is designed for final year UG and PG students in various engineering disciplines. This is a 6-month apprenticeship where selected candidates will gain practical experience in defence research laboratories.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be in their final year of B.E/B.Tech or equivalent in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Chemical, Instrumentation, Metallurgical, and other related branches. The internship is open to students who have completed their coursework and are looking for project or research exposure.
Stipend and Duration
Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 5000. The internship will last for a period of 6 months, allowing students to work on real-time projects under expert guidance.
