Overview of RRC Eastern Railway Apprentice 2025
The apprenticeship training is aimed at providing practical skill development in trades such as Carpenter, Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic, Mason, and more. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend between Rs 7,000 and Rs 9,000 during the training period. The training duration typically ranges from 6 months to 2 years as per the Apprentices Act.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:Minimum 10th pass with a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade, or 12th pass with ITI, or a NAC/NTC/NVTC/NCTVT certificate.
- Age Limit:Candidates must be between 15 and 24 years of age. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be provided as per government rules.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 100 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. No fee is required for SC, ST, PwBD, and all female candidates. The fee can be paid online through debit/credit card or net banking.

The apprenticeship is offered in the following trades (subject to availability): Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician, Carpenter, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Fitter, Lineman, Mechanic (Machine Tool Maintenance), Mechanic Millwright Maintenance, Mason Building Constructor, Mechanic Marine Diesel, and Mechanic Motor Vehicle.
