Gurugram University has released an official notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professors. A total of 7 vacancies are available for qualified candidates. The application process is offline and the last date to apply is September 3, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Master's degree (MA) in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. Additionally, they must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or an equivalent test like SLET/SET. However, those who have been awarded a PhD degree as per the UGC Regulations (2009/2016 and amendments) are exempt from the NET/SLET/SET requirement.

Age Limit

The age of the applicant should be between 18 and 55 years as of the closing date of application. Age relaxation for reserved categories is applicable as per Haryana government norms.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹1000 for General category candidates. For candidates belonging to DSC/OSC/BCA/BCB/EWS/ESM categories of Haryana, the fee is ₹250. The fee must be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favor of 'Gurugram University, Gurugram' payable at Gurugram.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates must fill the application form (available on the university website or at the administrative office) and sign each page. They should attach self-attested copies of all relevant documents and the demand draft. The complete application must reach the Deputy Registrar (Establishment), Gurugram University, Haryana via Speed Post, Registered Post, or by hand on or before September 3, 2025.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the candidate's academic record, experience, and performance in the interview. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview by the university selection committee.
