Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISC) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Program Manager (Specialist Scientist). This is a senior-level role requiring extensive experience in project management within academic or research environments. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex research projects, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate large-scale research programs and projects.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including funding agencies.
• Monitor project progress and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with institutional and funding agency policies.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Master of Science (M.S.) degree in a relevant discipline. In addition, a minimum of 7 years and up to 10 years of senior project management experience is required, preferably in an academic or research setting. Proven leadership and communication skills are essential.
