Overview

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER Thiruvananthapuram) has announced a recruitment drive for the position ofJunior Research Fellow (JRF)under a sponsored research project. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Applicants must hold an MSc in Physics and meet the age criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

M.Sc. in Physics or equivalent from a recognized university/institute. Candidates with research experience in the relevant field will be preferred.

Age Limit

Maximum 30 years as of the closing date of application. Age relaxation will be provided as per government norms.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship ofRs. 37,000(as per DST norms).

Selection Process

1. Initial screening of applications based on qualifications and experience.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview (mode may be online or offline).
3. Final merit list will be prepared based on interview performance.
