Overview of NIT Surathkal JRF Recruitment 2025

NIT Surathkal, also known as NITK, is looking for a motivated Junior Research Fellow to work on a project. The position is temporary for one year or until the termination of the project. The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹37,000.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:ME/M.Tech/MS in relevant discipline such as thermal engineering, advanced manufacturing, automobile engineering, chemical engineering, control systems, etc.
• Additional Requirement:Must have qualified GATE examination (old GATE scores are also valid).
• Age Limit:Maximum 32 years at the time of application.

Salary

The monthly fellowship is ₹37,000 (fixed).

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting of applications based on GATE score and academic performance.
2. Interview of shortlisted candidates.
