Prasar Bharati, India's public service broadcaster, has invited applications for the engagement of one News Reader cum Translator on a casual basis. The position is based in Maharashtra and offers a great opportunity for candidates with a background in journalism, media, or translation.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (BA or BA Hons) in a relevant discipline, or a Diploma in journalism/translation or related field.

Age Limit:The age of the applicant should be between 21 and 50 years as of the last date of application.

Experience:Freshers are welcome; however, candidates with five years of experience in print or electronic media will be given preference.

Application Fee

An application processing fee of Rs. 354 is required. No category-wise exemptions have been specified. The fee is to be paid as per the mode mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on two stages:

1. Written Test
2. Interview

Only those who qualify in the written test will be called for the interview.

The application must be sent via Speed Post or Registered Post to the address specified in the notification so that it reaches by or before 10 August 2025.
