The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Junior Consultant. This is a temporary contractual engagement valid until 31st March 2026. The selected candidate will be based in West Bengal and will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 70,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a medical qualification such as MD, MS, DNB, DM, or a master's degree in a relevant field (M.Sc., Master of Public Health). Additionally, a minimum of two years of research experience in disease surveillance, public health management, epidemiology, or public health research at the national or state level is required. Applicants with a Master's in Healthcare Management/Administration must have completed their graduate degree in MBBS, BHMS, BDS, or any other medical professional course in health science.

There is only one vacancy for the post of Junior Consultant.
