Kalakshetra Foundation, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is recruiting a dedicated Tutor (Bharatanatyam) to join its prestigious campus in Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled dancers who are passionate about teaching and preserving the traditional art form of Bharatanatyam.

Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for taking practical and theoretical classes in English, participating in Kalakshetra productions, performing solo recitals for about two hours, and conducting Nattuvangam (dance conducting). The role requires proficiency in singing and conducting dance programmes. The position offers a pay scale of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month.

• Educational Qualification:Diploma in Bharatanatyam or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Age Limit:Maximum 30 years (as on the date of application).
