Overview
Mecon Limited, a premier engineering consultancy and a public sector undertaking, has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Deputy Manager (Socio-Economic). The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) reports, with a focus on socio-economic aspects.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:Candidates must hold a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree or an equivalent Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as urban planning, rural development, or environmental economics.
Experience:A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in industry, consultancy organizations, educational institutions, or CSIR labs in the preparation of EIA/EMP study reports or functional area of socio-economics. At least three years of experience must be directly related to Environmental Impact Assessment. Additionally, the candidate must possess NABET accreditation as a Category 'A' Functional Area Expert in Socio-Economics. Preference will be given to candidates with training in Social Impact Assessment, a Ph.D. in relevant fields, or expertise in rural/urban socio-economic studies.
Age Limit:The maximum age limit is 32 years (general category). Age relaxation may be applicable as per government norms.
Salary and Benefits
