The National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD) has announced a contractual engagement for the post ofProject Officer (Timely payment, MIS and DBT). This is a great opportunity for experienced professionals with an MBA/PGDM background to contribute to rural development initiatives.

Overview of the Position

The Project Officer will be responsible for managing timely payments, Management Information Systems (MIS), and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) related to the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA programme. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the development and implementation of MGNREGA, preferably with knowledge of PFMS.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification:MBA or PGDM in Finance, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university.
• Age Limit:Maximum 60 years as of the closing date.
• Experience:Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in MGNREGA implementation.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 1,40,000. No other allowances or benefits are applicable as this is a purely contractual assignment.
