Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, has announced a recruitment notification for the position of Jr. Research Fellow/Project Associate I. This is a contractual opportunity for candidates with a Master's degree in relevant fields such as Biotechnology, Plant Biology, or Plant Biotechnology. The appointment is for a period of 6 months or until the termination of the scheme, whichever occurs first.

Vacancy Details

There is only one vacancy for the post of Jr. Research Fellow/Project Associate I. The post is based at PAU, Ludhiana, Punjab.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000 plus HRA if they do not possess NET, and Rs. 37,000 plus HRA if they have qualified NET. The higher salary is applicable to those with a valid NET certificate.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Master's degree (M.Sc.) in the relevant subject. Those who do not have a Master's degree but possess a Ph.D. in the required discipline at the Master's level are also eligible to apply.

The form must be filled with accurate details, along with attested copies of educational certificates and experience documents. The application fee of Rs. 200 is to be paid online to the Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana. Completed applications should be submitted to the office on any working day between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM before the last date of 06 August 2025.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and experience. Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview. The final selection will be based on overall performance.
