About IIT BHU Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2025
The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi, commonly known as IIT BHU, has released a notification for the engagement of Senior Research Fellows (SRF) under a sponsored research project. The position is purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the project duration.
Number of Posts and Salary
A total of 2 vacancies are available for the post of Senior Research Fellow. Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 42,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Applied Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, or Electronics and Instrumentation. Additionally, a valid GATE or NET score is mandatory.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for general category candidates is 32 years. Age relaxation may be applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant research experience is preferred.
