The Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Lab Technician. This is a contractual position based at THSTI's campus in Faridabad, Haryana.

Overview

THSTI is seeking qualified and experienced candidates to fill one vacancy for Lab Technician. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting laboratory operations, conducting experiments, and maintaining lab equipment. The salary scale is Rs. 25,500 - 81,100 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a B.Sc / B.Sc(Hons) / BS degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university or institute. Additional experience of at least 2 years in a laboratory setting is required.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for general category candidates is 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms: OBC - 33 years, SC/ST - 35 years, PwBD - up to 40 years.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting of applications based on qualifications and experience.
• Interview and/or skill test (as decided by the institute).
• Document verification and medical examination for final selection.
