Responsibilities
- Participate in on-the-job training in the allotted trade/section under supervision of Railway officials.
- Follow training schedules, safety instructions, and standard operating procedures applicable to the workshop/division.
- Assist in basic maintenance/repair/production support activities relevant to the trade as part of structured learning.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and training records as required by the unit.
- Comply with the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and rules/regulations of the training establishment.
Requirements
- Education: Matriculation (10th) or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
- Technical Qualification: ITI certificate in relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institution.
- Age Limit (as on 07-March-2022): 15 to 24 years.
- Age Relaxation (upper age limit):
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PWD: 10 years
