Role Overview
As an Administrative Officer, you will support core insurance functions and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of services. Depending on your educational background and business needs, you may be aligned to functional areas such as underwriting, claims, legal, finance, IT, medical, or general administration.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end insurance operations including underwriting, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and servicing.
- Evaluate risk and assist in pricing/coverage decisions in line with company policies and regulatory norms.
- Process and manage claims, including documentation review, coordination with surveyors/TPAs, and settlement recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with branches, partners, and customers to resolve service requests and operational issues.
- Prepare reports, MIS dashboards, and operational documentation to support decision-making.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance turnaround time and customer experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, IT, and operations teams for effective case handling and service delivery.
Requirements
- Education: Graduation in any stream or relevant professional degree such as B.Com, B.Tech/B.E, MBBS, LLM, M.Com, M.E/M.Tech, MS/MD, or other postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields.
- Age: 21 to 30 years (age relaxation applicable as per NICL rules and applicable regulations).
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
- Comfort with digital tools, documentation, and process-driven workflows.
