Position: Admissions Coordinator

We are seeking an organized, service-oriented Admissions Coordinator to support end-to-end admission operations for academic programs. This role coordinates applicant communication, application processing, document verification, and collaboration with academic departments to ensure a smooth and compliant admissions cycle.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day admissions operations including application intake, data entry, and file management.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for applicants, responding to inquiries via email, phone, and in-person channels.
- Support publication and dissemination of admission-related information including schedules, eligibility criteria, and key instructions.
- Verify applicant documentation (identity, academic records, category certificates, domicile, etc.) as per institutional guidelines.
- Maintain accurate applicant records in admissions systems and ensure data integrity across reports and dashboards.
- Coordinate with academic departments and committees for shortlisting, merit list preparation, counseling schedules, and seat allocation workflows.
- Assist in organizing counseling/admission events, orientation sessions, and helpdesk operations during peak periods.
- Ensure adherence to university policies, statutory requirements, and timelines; escalate exceptions and discrepancies appropriately.
- Prepare routine communications, notices, and documentation for internal approvals and applicant updates.
- Support audit readiness by maintaining clear documentation trails and standardized filing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; master’s degree is a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, education administration, front-office operations, or student services (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, student-first approach.
- Working knowledge of common office tools (spreadsheets, word processing, email) and comfort with web portals/online forms.
- High attention to detail for document verification, data accuracy, and compliance checks.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines during high-volume admission cycles.
- Strong coordination skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive personal and academic data.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English preferred.
