Air Force AFCAT Recruitment & Selection Coordinator (02/2021 Batch)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Air Force AFCAT Recruitment & Selection Coordinator to support end-to-end coordination of examination result communications, candidate guidance, and selection workflow activities related to AFCAT-style online examinations and subsequent interview processes. This role focuses on ensuring timely dissemination of result updates, maintaining accurate candidate instructions, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to support merit list publication and next-step communications (e.g., interview and joining instructions).

This position is ideal for professionals experienced in recruitment operations, examination administration, or government/defense-adjacent selection processes who can manage high-volume candidate queries and ensure process integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and publish examination-related updates, including final result announcements and merit list communications in alignment with approved timelines.
  • Maintain and validate candidate instruction flows for result access (e.g., login steps, credential requirements, captcha guidance), ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Support candidate communications for next steps such as interview notifications (e.g., SSB-style interview processes), document requirements, and joining instruction dissemination.
  • Track and reconcile vacancy and intake information (e.g., batch details, number of posts) and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
  • Manage candidate support processes, including FAQ creation, escalation handling, and resolution of access issues (email/login ID, password resets, DOB verification where applicable).
  • Coordinate with technical/admin teams to ensure result links, official resources, and portals remain functional and up to date.
  • Maintain compliance with data privacy and confidentiality standards when handling candidate credentials and personally identifiable information.
  • Prepare operational reports on result publication status, candidate query trends, and process bottlenecks; recommend improvements.
  • Ensure content quality and consistency across web pages, downloadable instructions, and official link directories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, HR, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment operations, exam administration, admissions coordination, or large-scale candidate management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive updates with minimal errors.
  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting clear instructions and public-facing notices.
  • Comfortable working with web portals/CMS tools and maintaining link repositories (e.g., “Important Links” sections).
  • Ability to handle high volumes of candidate inquiries professionally and consistently.
  • Working knowledge of selection workflows (online exam → result/merit list → interview → joining instructions) is preferred.
  • Basic data handling skills (Excel/Google Sheets) for tracking vacancies, candidate cohorts, and status reporting.
  • Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive candidate information.
