Position Overview
We are seeking an Answer Key Content Specialist (Education Exams) to research, verify, and publish accurate answer key updates and related exam information for education and recruitment examinations. This role focuses on ensuring clarity, correctness, and timeliness of content such as answer key announcements, objection windows, important dates, eligibility notes, and official links.
You will work closely with editorial, SEO, and QA teams to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance while producing user-friendly content that helps candidates quickly find official resources (e.g., answer key download links, objection instructions, and key dates).
Responsibilities
- Track official exam portals and notices to identify new releases (e.g., answer keys, admit cards, exam dates, objections, results, notifications).
- Draft and publish detailed answer key pages with structured sections such as important dates, application fee (if applicable), eligibility notes, and step-by-step download instructions.
- Verify information against official sources (board/commission websites) and maintain an audit trail of URLs and release timestamps.
- Create clear “How to Download” and “How to Raise Objection” instructions, including required credentials (roll number, DOB, captcha, etc.).
- Standardize content formatting, headings, and internal linking to ensure consistency across pages.
- Perform quality checks to prevent broken links, incorrect dates, mismatched exam names/phases, or misleading claims.
- Coordinate with the SEO team to optimize titles, meta intent, and internal tags while keeping content factual and compliant.
- Monitor user feedback and update content when official revisions occur (revised answer keys, extended objection windows, updated notices).
- Maintain a calendar of releases and ensure rapid turnaround for time-sensitive updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Journalism, Education, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 1–3 years of experience in content writing/editing for education, government jobs, recruitment updates, or exam information portals.
- Strong ability to read and interpret official notifications and extract key details (dates, eligibility, instructions, links).
- Excellent written English with attention to detail and the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Comfortable working with CMS tools (WordPress or similar) and basic HTML for formatting.
- Strong fact-checking discipline and experience referencing primary sources (official websites/notifications).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines during high-volume release periods.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices (without compromising accuracy).
Nice to Have
- Experience covering education boards, teacher eligibility exams (TET/CTET/STET), or state-level recruitment processes.
- Familiarity with creating structured content templates for recurring exam updates.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English (bilingual) to interpret notices and improve accessibility.
Benefits
- Competitive salary with performance-based growth opportunities.
- Flexible work options (remote/hybrid depending on location and team needs).
- Learning and development support for editorial, SEO, and content operations.
- Collaborative editorial environment with clear templates and quality standards.
- Opportunity to work on high-impact content used by a large candidate audience.
