This opportunity is designed for candidates seeking structured, hands-on training in a government industrial environment through Non-ITI and ITI apprenticeship pathways.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-the-job training as per the apprenticeship curriculum and unit/trade requirements.
  • Assist in shop-floor/production, maintenance, quality, and allied technical activities under supervision.
  • Follow safety procedures, standard operating processes (SOPs), and workplace discipline.
  • Maintain training logs/records and complete assigned learning modules within timelines.
  • Cooperate with supervisors/mentors during evaluations, document verification, and related formalities.

Requirements

  • Age Limit (as on 21 November 2024): Minimum 14 years and Maximum 18 years (age relaxation as per YIL recruitment rules).
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Non-ITI Apprentice: Matriculation / Class 10 from a recognized board in India.
    • ITI Apprentice: Matriculation / Class 10 with ITI in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution/board in India.
  • Selection Method:
    • Shortlisting based on Class 10 / ITI marks (as applicable).
    • Document Verification.
    • Medical Examination.
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment and comply with safety and medical fitness requirements.
