Overview: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) invites applications for the role of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II / Executive. This position supports national security and internal intelligence operations through information collection, analysis, reporting, and coordination with relevant stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Collect, evaluate, and analyze information relevant to internal security and intelligence priorities.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports/briefs based on data and field inputs.
- Support operational planning and execution, including coordination and administrative follow-ups.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with applicable security protocols and procedures.
- Assist in verification, documentation, and record management as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with other government stakeholders when assigned.
- Perform duties as assigned in accordance with organizational requirements and operational needs.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
- Age Limit (as per referenced notification timeline): 18 to 27 years (age relaxation applicable as per rules).
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to draft structured notes/reports.
- Sound analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Willingness to work in a structured government environment with high standards of integrity and discipline.
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
