Position: Assistant Commandant (AC), Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) via Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
Overview: We are seeking high-integrity, physically fit, and mission-driven leaders to join India’s Central Armed Police Forces as Assistant Commandants. This role is designed for individuals who can lead teams in demanding operational environments, uphold national security objectives, and manage personnel and resources with discipline and professionalism.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage platoon/company-level teams during operational duties, training, and deployments.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise security operations in accordance with force protocols and applicable laws.
- Maintain discipline, morale, and welfare of personnel; enforce standards of conduct and performance.
- Oversee administrative functions including duty rosters, reporting, documentation, and resource management.
- Coordinate with other units and civil administration when required for public safety, law and order, and emergency response.
- Ensure readiness through regular drills, physical training, and operational preparedness activities.
- Support compliance with medical/fitness standards and safety procedures during training and operations.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
- Age: 20 to 25 years (as per the relevant examination rules and cut-off date); age relaxation as applicable under government norms.
- Physical/Medical: Must meet prescribed physical efficiency and medical standards for CAPF (including PET and medical examination requirements).
- Core competencies: Leadership, decision-making under pressure, integrity, strong communication, and ability to work in challenging field conditions.
- Selection process: Written Exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Interview, and Final Merit List.
