Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company (MPPGCL) is seeking qualified engineering graduates for the role of Assistant Engineer (AE) across Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics disciplines. This position supports power generation operations through engineering execution, maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Support operation and maintenance activities for power plant systems and associated equipment within your engineering discipline.
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance planning, execution, and reporting.
- Analyze equipment performance, identify root causes of failures, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (operations, safety, procurement, contractors) to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures, statutory requirements, and internal technical standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, logs, and reports as required.
- Support inspection, testing, commissioning activities, and document verification processes when required.
Requirements
- Age Limit (as on 01 January 2024): Minimum 21 years; Maximum 40 years (age relaxation as per MPPGCL rules).
- Education (discipline-wise):
- Mechanical: BE/B.Tech or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE/UGC recognized institute/university.
- Electrical: BE/B.Tech or AMIE in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an AICTE/UGC recognized institute/university.
- Electronics: BE/B.Tech or AMIE in Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control Engineering from an AICTE/UGC recognized institute/university.
- Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven environment and follow safety protocols.
- Basic proficiency in technical reporting and coordination with internal/external stakeholders.
