Position: Assistant Manager
We are seeking a results-driven Assistant Manager to support day-to-day operations, strengthen process compliance, and help deliver measurable improvements across business functions. This role is ideal for professionals who combine strong operational discipline with people leadership and a continuous-improvement mindset.
Responsibilities
- Support the Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing daily operations to meet service, quality, and productivity targets.
- Monitor team performance, allocate work, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Assist in preparing operational reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for leadership review.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, SOPs, and applicable regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Identify process gaps and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Finance, HR, Procurement, IT) to resolve issues and deliver initiatives.
- Support onboarding, training, and coaching of team members; contribute to performance feedback cycles.
- Handle escalations professionally and ensure root-cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain documentation, records, and audit-ready evidence as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in operations, administration, finance support, or team supervision (industry flexible).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of reporting, documentation, and process compliance; comfort with audits and controls is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets skills preferred).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated leadership potential with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
