Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching as per departmental curriculum and university standards.
- Develop lesson plans, learning materials, and assessment tools aligned with learning outcomes.
- Mentor students academically and support their overall development (projects, internships, career guidance).
- Participate in departmental academic activities including seminars, workshops, curriculum development, and academic committees.
- Undertake research/innovation activities and contribute to publications, projects, and academic collaborations (as applicable).
- Maintain accurate academic records, evaluation documentation, and compliance with university processes.
Requirements
General Eligibility (most disciplines):
- Master’s degree with 55% marks in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- Must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC (e.g., SLET/SET), or must hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC regulations.
Discipline-Specific Eligibility (high-level summary):
- Computer Application: (i) B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class (in any one degree), or (ii) B.E./B.Tech and MCA with First Class (in any one of the two degrees), or (iii) 3-year Graduation with Mathematics as compulsory subject and MCA with First Class plus 2 years relevant experience post-MCA.
- Architecture: B.Arch and M.Arch (or allied Master’s) with First Class in any one degree and minimum 2 years professional experience, or B.Arch with First Class and minimum 5 years professional experience.
- Nursing: M.Sc. (Nursing) with 3 years teaching experience.
- Design: Bachelor’s degree or minimum 4-year diploma in a related stream.
- Animation: Eligibility as per official notification.
