Responsibilities
- Support planning and implementation of public sanitation and solid waste management initiatives in assigned jurisdictions.
- Assist in monitoring waste collection, segregation, transportation, processing, and disposal systems to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Participate in inspections, reporting, and documentation related to sanitation infrastructure and waste management operations.
- Contribute to public health and environmental protection measures through data collection, analysis, and field coordination.
- Coordinate with relevant departments, contractors, and stakeholders for effective execution of sanitation and waste management programs.
- Prepare notes, summaries, and technical inputs for administrative review as required.
Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry / Environmental Science, OR
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Chemical / Civil / Environmental Science / Public Health Engineering / Bio Technology, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Planning / Architecture
- Degree must be from a recognized university/institution.
- Must meet the prescribed age criteria as on 01 August 2025.
- Ability to work in field and office environments as per role requirements.
- Basic proficiency in documentation and coordination duties.
