Position: Assistant Store Keeper (Grade III) – Typing Test Support & Records
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Store Keeper (Grade III) to support inventory operations, documentation, and data entry activities. This role is well-suited for candidates who are comfortable with computer-based typing, maintaining registers, and coordinating day-to-day store and dispatch activities in a structured environment.

Responsibilities
- Maintain stock registers and inventory records (inward/outward, issue/receipt, ledger updates) with high accuracy.
- Perform data entry and typing tasks related to store documentation, requisitions, and stock movement.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and recording incoming materials; verify quantities and basic condition against invoices/challans.
- Support issuance of materials against authorized indents and maintain proper acknowledgements.
- Coordinate with departments/vendors for delivery schedules, documentation, and discrepancy resolution.
- Prepare routine reports such as stock summaries, consumption statements, and pending indent status.
- Ensure proper labeling, safe storage, and basic housekeeping of the store area.
- Support audits/inspections by organizing files, registers, and digital records for quick retrieval.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements for record retention and approvals.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent; additional certification in computer applications is a plus.
- Typing/Data Entry: Comfortable with computer-based typing tests and routine office software usage.
- Basic knowledge of inventory/store procedures (stock entry, issue, reconciliation) preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel) or equivalent tools for reporting and record keeping.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain error-free registers and documentation.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under timelines.
- Integrity and confidentiality when handling official records and materials.
