Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be expected to perform duties aligned with Auxiliary Nurse Midwife roles in public health and clinical support settings. Responsibilities typically include:
- Providing basic nursing care and assisting in clinical procedures as per assigned facility protocols.
- Supporting maternal and child health services, including antenatal and postnatal care support.
- Assisting with immunization and community health outreach activities as directed.
- Maintaining patient records, registers, and documentation as per government/department guidelines.
- Supporting infection prevention practices and maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
- Coordinating with healthcare teams and participating in assigned public health programs.
Requirements
- Education: 10th (Matriculation) or equivalent from a recognized board with minimum 45% marks.
- Training: Must have completed 18 months ANM training.
- Registration: Must be registered with the Jharkhand State Nursing Council.
