Position: Programmer

Organization: Bihar State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (BSEDC) / BELTRON

BSEDC (BELTRON) is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Programmer. This position supports the development and maintenance of software systems and digital solutions that enable technology-driven public services and organizational operations. Candidates with strong computer science fundamentals, hands-on development capability, and the ability to work in structured, process-oriented environments are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and system components.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical specifications.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following approved standards and best practices.
Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of applications and services.
Support integration with databases, APIs, and third-party services as required.
Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and release management activities.
Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and maintenance notes.
Provide application support and resolve defects within defined timelines.
Assist in security, compliance, and data protection practices as applicable to government/PSU environments.

Requirements

Education: B.Tech (CS) / BE (CS) / MCA / B.Sc. Engg. (CS) / M.Sc. IT from a recognized university/college.
Age Limit (as per notification): Minimum 18 years and maximum 59 years (age relaxation as per BELTRON recruitment rules).
Strong understanding of programming concepts, data structures, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for coordination and documentation.
