Responsibilities

Provide safe, ethical, and patient-centered nursing care in assigned units/wards.
Assist physicians and clinical teams during examinations, procedures, and treatment administration.
Monitor patient vitals, document nursing assessments, and maintain accurate clinical records.
Administer medications and treatments as per protocols and physician orders.
Ensure infection prevention and control practices are followed consistently.
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Support emergency response and participate in clinical handovers and shift coordination.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education: 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board/university/institution.
Professional Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing or 3-year Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from a recognized university/institution.
Registration: Must be registered with the Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh.
Punjabi Language: Must have passed Punjabi up to Matriculation (or equivalent) at the time of applying.
Preference: Preference may be given to candidates possessing B.Sc. (N) qualification.
