Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Bihar ITI CAT Admissions Coordinator to support end-to-end admission form operations for ITI entrance processes. This role focuses on application guidance, document verification support, candidate communication, deadline tracking, and coordination with internal teams to ensure a smooth applicant experience.
This position is ideal for someone who can manage high volumes of candidate queries, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with published admission timelines and instructions.
Responsibilities
- Guide applicants through the Bihar ITI CAT online admission form process, including registration steps, form completion, and submission requirements.
- Respond to candidate inquiries via email/phone/chat and provide accurate, consistent information on eligibility, important dates, and required documents.
- Track admission timelines (start date, last date, fee payment deadlines) and ensure internal readiness for peak application periods.
- Support document verification workflows by checking completeness, readability, and alignment with stated requirements.
- Maintain and update applicant records in internal trackers/CRM tools, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with technical/support teams to escalate portal issues, payment problems, or login/access concerns.
- Assist in preparing standard operating procedures (SOPs), FAQs, and candidate-facing instructions for the admissions cycle.
- Generate periodic status reports on application volumes, common issues, and resolution turnaround times.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and organizational policies while handling candidate information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred); relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions support, customer support, education services, government exam/admission facilitation, or similar operations roles.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (spoken and written); ability to explain steps clearly and patiently.
- Comfort working with online portals, form workflows, payment confirmations, and document checklists.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage deadlines and multiple applicant cases.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Docs, email management).
- Ability to work under time-bound cycles and handle high query volumes during last-date periods.
- Professional integrity and discretion when handling candidate data and documents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to ITI admissions, entrance exams, or education/edtech operations.
- Experience creating help content (FAQs, step-by-step guides) for online application processes.
- Basic understanding of troubleshooting common portal issues (OTP, login, payment status, document upload errors).
