We are seeking a dedicated Special School Teacher to support learners with diverse needs in an inclusive, structured, and student-centered environment. This role focuses on planning and delivering individualized instruction, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring students receive the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support needed to thrive.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs and learning goals.
Provide differentiated instruction using evidence-based strategies for students with disabilities and learning differences.
Assess student performance regularly and maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and required records.
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, counselors, and administrators to implement accommodations and modifications.
Support classroom management through positive behavior interventions and structured routines.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and support strategies.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and compliance-related activities as required.
Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student independence and confidence.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred where applicable).
Relevant teaching certification/licensure for Special Education (as per applicable state/board/government norms).
Demonstrated knowledge of IEP development, inclusive education practices, and differentiated instruction.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience working with children with special needs in a school setting is preferred.
Comfort with documentation, assessment tools, and maintaining compliance with educational guidelines.
