Responsibilities
- Perform role-specific duties in support of BRO operations, including transportation, machinery operation, drafting, workshop/trade tasks, and administrative support.
- Operate and maintain assigned vehicles/equipment safely and in accordance with departmental procedures (for Driver/Operator roles).
- Support field and project requirements, including adherence to schedules, reporting, and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain documentation/logs as required for vehicles, equipment, or administrative processes.
Requirements (Eligibility & Qualifications)
- Draughtsman:
- 12th (Intermediate) with Science from a recognized board in India.
- 2-year certificate in Architecture/Draughtsmanship.
- For Draughtsman (Civil): 2-year National Trade Certificate + 1 year experience.
- Supervisor (Administration):
- Graduate with NCC “B” Certificate, OR
- Ex-Naib Subedar (General Duty) / equivalent from Army/Navy/Air Force.
- Turner:
- Turner certificate from ITC/ITI/NCTVT/Defence Trade Certificate with 1 year experience, OR
- For defence personnel: Class II course passed as per prescribed qualification regulations.
- Machinist:
- 10th (Matric) from a recognized board in India.
- ITI in Machinist trade.
- Defence Trade Certificate (or equivalent) + 1 year experience as Machinist (where applicable).
- Driver Mechanical Transport (OG):
- 10th (Matric) from a recognized board in India.
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license.
- Driver Road Roller (OG):
- 10th (Matric) from a recognized board in India.
- HMV driving license / Road Roller driving license with 6 months experience.
- Operator Excavating Machinery (OG):
- 10th (Matric) from a recognized board in India.
- Valid HMV driving license.
- Dozer/Excavator driving license and 6 months experience operating dozer/excavating machinery.
