Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary by post and department. Typical duties may include:
- Supporting branch/office administration, file processing, drafting notes, and coordinating departmental workflows.
- Assisting in planning, monitoring, and reporting activities for government programs and initiatives.
- Conducting data compilation, basic analysis, and preparation of statistical/administrative reports (as applicable).
- Performing auditing and verification of records, accounts, and compliance documentation (for Auditor posts).
- Maintaining accurate records, data entry, and documentation using approved government systems (for DEO/IT-related roles).
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks as per departmental guidelines.
Requirements
Educational Qualification (Post-wise)
- Assistant Branch Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
- Industry Extension Officer: Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 45% marks in Commerce/Economics/Mathematics/Statistics from a recognized university in India.
- Planning Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
- Junior Statistical Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/Economics/Commerce/Statistics from a recognized university in India.
- Data Entry Operator Grade-C: Bachelor’s Degree with PGDCA or BCA/B.Sc (IT) from a recognized university/institution. Candidates with B.E. (CSE) / B.Tech (IT) may also be eligible as per notification.
- Auditor (Directorate of Accounts, Finance Department): Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Economics/Statistics from a recognized university in India.
- Auditor (Cooperative Societies, Cooperation Department): Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or Commerce from a recognized university in India.

- Maximum Age: 37 years (General Male)
- Maximum Age: 40 years (General Female)
- Maximum Age: 40 years (BC/EBC Male & Female)
