Responsibilities
- Take dictation in shorthand and transcribe accurately within required timelines.
- Prepare, format, and proofread official correspondence, notes, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Maintain files, registers, and documentation in accordance with office procedures.
- Support day-to-day administrative tasks including scheduling, coordination, and record management.
- Handle confidential information responsibly and maintain data integrity.
- Assist in preparing documents for examinations, audits, and departmental reviews when required.
Requirements
- Education: 10+2 (Intermediate) pass from any recognized board in India.
- Stenography Skills: Candidates should possess working knowledge of stenography (shorthand and typing/transcription) as required for the post.
- Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 37 years (General Male)
- Maximum: 40 years (General Female)
- Maximum: 40 years (BC/EBC Male & Female)
- Maximum: 42 years (SC/ST Male & Female)
- Age relaxation applicable as per BSSC recruitment rules.
- Ability to work accurately under deadlines and follow government office protocols.
- Basic computer proficiency for document preparation and digital record handling (as applicable).
