Various Cantonment Boards have released notifications for recruitment to multiple posts including Junior Clerk, Midwife, Ward Boy and other roles. Online registration started from 15 December 2022. Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary by post and Cantonment Board. Typical duties may include:
- Junior Clerk: Office administration, record keeping, data entry, typing work, file movement, and support to departmental operations.
- Assistant Teacher: Classroom instruction, lesson planning, student assessment, and compliance with school/cantonment education guidelines.
- Midwife: Maternal and child healthcare support, ANM-related services, maintaining patient records, and assisting in public health initiatives.
- Ward Boy: Patient support services, hospital/dispensary assistance, basic ward upkeep support, and coordination with medical staff.
- Pump Attendant/Electrician: Operation and maintenance of equipment, routine checks, and adherence to safety procedures.
- Assistant Sanitary Inspector: Support in sanitation supervision, reporting, documentation, and field coordination as per board requirements.
- Medical Officer: Clinical services, diagnosis/treatment, documentation, and compliance with applicable medical standards.
Requirements / Eligibility (Post Wise)
- Junior Clerk: 12th (Intermediate) passed; Hindi typing 25 WPM and English typing 30 WPM; CCC exam passed.
- Assistant Teacher: Bachelor’s degree in any stream; TET/CTET (Primary level) qualified; D.El.Ed (BTC)/B.Ed/equivalent passed.
- Midwife: 10+2 (Intermediate) with ANM; 6-month training certificate; registration with State Medical Faculty.
- Pump Attendant: Class 10 (High School) passed with ITI certificate in relevant trade.
- Electrician: Class 10 (High School) passed with ITI certificate in relevant trade.
- Ward Boy: Class 10 (High School) passed from a recognized board.
- Assistant Sanitary Inspector: 10+2 (Intermediate) passed; CCC passed; Hindi typing 25 WPM and English typing 30 WPM; 2 years of experience.
- Medical Officer: MBBS degree.
