Position: CISF Constable (Fire)
We are seeking disciplined, physically fit, and service-oriented candidates for the role of Constable (Fire). This position supports fire prevention, fire-fighting operations, emergency response, rescue, and safety enforcement across assigned units. The role requires readiness for shift duties, rapid response during emergencies, and adherence to established safety and security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergency calls; participate in fire-fighting, rescue, and evacuation operations.
- Operate and maintain fire-fighting equipment such as hoses, pumps, extinguishers, breathing apparatus, and related tools.
- Conduct routine inspections of fire safety systems and equipment; report defects and ensure operational readiness.
- Assist in implementing fire prevention measures, safety drills, and awareness programs at the assigned location.
- Support incident documentation, basic reporting, and coordination with team leaders during emergencies.
- Maintain discipline, follow chain-of-command instructions, and comply with departmental SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Perform physical training, parade, and other duties as assigned, including shift work and deployment readiness.
Requirements
- Education: Typically requires completion of 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized board (as per applicable recruitment notification).
- Age: As per recruitment rules/notification (age relaxation may apply for eligible categories).
- Physical Fitness: Must meet prescribed physical standards and qualify in physical efficiency tests relevant to fire services.
- Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit for operational fire and emergency duties.

- Other: Willingness to work in shifts, relocate/deploy as required, and perform duties in challenging environments.
