Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented CTET Application & Candidate Support Specialist to guide candidates through the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) application journey, provide accurate information on important dates and documentation, and ensure a smooth, compliant, and supportive experience. This role blends customer support, process coordination, and content accuracy for exam-related workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Assist candidates with CTET online application steps, including registration, login, form completion, fee submission, and confirmation.
  • Provide clear guidance on required details such as registration/roll number, password/DOB, captcha, and language preferences (Hindi/English) where applicable.
  • Respond to candidate queries via email, chat, and phone within defined SLAs, maintaining a professional and empathetic tone.
  • Maintain and update exam support content (FAQs, step-by-step instructions, troubleshooting guides) to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Track and escalate technical issues (login failures, payment errors, document upload problems) to internal technical teams and follow up to resolution.
  • Verify and cross-check application data for completeness and common errors, helping reduce rejection or correction cycles.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to publish timely updates on important dates, status changes, and official links.
  • Maintain records of interactions, resolutions, and recurring issues; prepare weekly reports and insights to improve candidate experience.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy standards while handling candidate credentials and personal information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred); relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer support, operations, education services, or online application processing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency is a plus.
  • Comfortable explaining step-by-step processes to non-technical users.
  • High attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in forms and candidate submissions.
  • Working knowledge of web portals, online forms, and payment workflows; ability to troubleshoot common browser/device issues.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, ticketing tools/CRMs, and documentation tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and meet deadlines during peak application periods.
  • Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive personal data.
