Responsibilities
- Maintain law and order and support public safety operations in assigned areas.
- Perform patrolling duties, crowd management, and traffic/premises assistance as directed.
- Assist in prevention and detection of crime and support investigation-related field tasks as assigned.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with senior officers and control room instructions.
- Ensure compliance with departmental procedures, discipline, and professional conduct.
- Prepare basic reports/entries and support routine administrative policing tasks.
Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Passed Class 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board in India.
- Male candidates: Valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) driving license as applicable per notification.
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 25 years
- Age relaxation: As per SSC/Delhi Police recruitment rules.

Male:
- Height: 170 cm (UR/OBC/EWS/SC), 165 cm (ST)
- Chest: 81–85 cm (UR/OBC/EWS/SC), 76–80 cm (ST)
Female:
- Height: 157 cm (UR/OBC/EWS/SC), 155 cm (ST)
Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Indicative
Male:
- Up to 30 years: 1600 m in 6 min; Long Jump 14 ft; High Jump 3.9 ft
- 30–40 years: 1600 m in 7 min; Long Jump 13 ft; High Jump 3.6 ft
- Above 40 years: 1600 m in 8 min; Long Jump 12 ft; High Jump 3.3 ft
Female:
- Up to 30 years: 1600 m in 8 min; Long Jump 10 ft; High Jump 3 ft
- 30–40 years: 1600 m in 9 min; Long Jump 9 ft; High Jump 2.9 ft
- Above 40 years: 1600 m in 10 min; Long Jump 8 ft; High Jump 2.6 ft
