This role supports DFCCIL’s mission of developing and operating dedicated freight corridors to enhance India’s logistics efficiency. The Railway Executive / Junior Executive will contribute to planning, execution, operations, and support functions across technical and operational domains depending on the assigned discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day execution of assigned functions in railway operations, project implementation, maintenance, or allied support areas as per posting.
  • Assist in coordination with internal departments, contractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to work progress, inspections, compliance, and operational metrics.
  • Follow applicable safety standards, statutory requirements, and DFCCIL policies while working on-site or in office environments.
  • Participate in inspections, monitoring, and quality checks as required for the role and discipline.
  • Use relevant tools/software (as applicable) for reporting, analysis, and coordination.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and service reliability.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate/Diploma/Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline as per DFCCIL recruitment guidelines for Executive/Junior Executive posts.
  • Knowledge of basic railway/project/operations concepts relevant to the assigned role (training may be provided based on posting).
  • Ability to work in field conditions and travel/relocate as per project and organizational needs.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting.
  • Must meet eligibility criteria related to age, category relaxations, and any other conditions as per the official DFCCIL notification.
