Responsibilities

Support laboratory and field-level technical operations aligned to DRDO projects and testing requirements.
Operate, maintain, and assist in calibration/handling of technical equipment and tools as per trade/discipline.
Assist scientists/engineers in experimentation, prototyping, data collection, and documentation.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality practices.
Maintain records, logs, and documentation required for audits and project traceability.
Participate in trade/skill activities and support team coordination during trials and evaluations.

Requirements

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026):

Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 28 years
Age relaxation applicable as per DRDO/CEPTAM rules.

Educational Qualification (trade/discipline as applicable):

Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B): B.Sc. degree or Diploma in Engineering in the relevant trade/discipline.
Technician-A: ITI certification in the relevant trade.

Additional Expectations:

Ability to work in a technical, process-driven environment with attention to detail.
Willingness to undergo written examination, trade/skill test, document verification, and medical examination.
Basic proficiency in documentation and adherence to safety and quality standards.
