Responsibilities

Teaching Roles (Principal / TGT / PGT)

  • Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned instruction and assess student learning outcomes.
  • Maintain academic records, lesson plans, and student progress documentation.
  • Support student mentoring, discipline, and holistic development in a residential school environment.
  • Participate in examinations, invigilation, remedial classes, and co-curricular activities.
  • Principal-specific: Lead school administration, academic planning, staff management, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

Non-Teaching Roles

  • Staff Nurse (Female): Provide healthcare services, maintain medical records, support preventive health programs, and coordinate referrals/emergencies.
  • Hostel Warden: Manage hostel operations, student welfare, attendance, discipline, and day-to-day residential supervision.
  • Accountant: Handle accounts, vouchers, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial reporting as per institutional norms.
  • JSA: Provide clerical/administrative support, documentation, file management, and typing/data entry tasks.
  • Lab Attendant: Assist in lab setup, equipment upkeep, inventory management, and safety procedures.

Requirements (Eligibility)

  • Principal: Master’s Degree in any subject + B.Ed + minimum 12 years of teaching experience.
  • TGT: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks + B.Ed + STET or CTET Paper II qualified.
  • PGT: Master’s Degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks + B.Ed (or integrated 4-year degree where B.Ed not required as per norms).
  • Staff Nurse (Female): B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic Nursing + registered with State Nursing Council + minimum 2.5 years relevant experience.
  • Hostel Warden: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
  • Accountant: B.Com from a recognized university in India.
  • Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): 10+2 (Intermediate) + typing speed of 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi).
  • Lab Attendant: Class 10 with Certificate/Diploma in Laboratory Technique OR 10+2 with Science stream.

Age Criteria

  • Maximum age generally ranges from 30 to 50 years depending on the post (as on 01 August 2025).
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per EMRS/NESTS rules.
